Opening The Door To Change

Trainetics' course featured in the CQC’s report on improving patient safety in the NHS.

With the release of the CQC’s report “Opening the Door to change”, Prof. Ted Baker (Chief inspector of hospitals, CQC) called for cultural change within the NHS in order to improve patient safety. He talks of a need for greater professional humility and Just Culture, a way of life embedded in aviation.

Within the report our course receives a dedicated section praising the collaboration between British Airways and Healthcare professionals in delivering a unique training experience for clinicians and other frontline clinical staff. The report focuses positively on the format of plenaries and simulation. These are used effectively, with positive feedback from delegates who are highly motivated to make changes in their clinical environment based on in-depth learning during debriefs on the day.
