Trainetics Invited To Deliver Human Factors Training To The Theatre Team At One Ashford Hospital
Prof Paul Bowie and Mark Ponnusamy recently travelled to One Ashford Hospital to deliver a day of bespoke training to the theatre team. Paul and Mark developed a bespoke training day, covering a range of topics including systems thinking, situational awareness, cognitive performance, workload management and leadership.
Optimising system performance, particularly in such a complex environment, can be a challenging objective. It was an extremely valuable exercise for the team to break down many of the factors at play and gain confidence in applying HF tools to optimise outcomes.
It was great to see the team acquire a firm foundation in HF principles alongside developing their own toolbox to deploy within their complex, dynamic system.
