Trainetics talks communication at HFC 2019.
Trainetics recently spoke at the Human Factors Conference at Manchester Airport. This inter-agency conference aims to share learning and knowledge between all safety-critical sectors from healthcare to civil aviation.
Faculty member James Harlow focused on the role of communication in creating a safe environment within aviation. He discussed the importance of clear, concise and consistent use of language when communicating in an emergency or voicing concern about a situation.
The conference was shown examples of the principles and practices utilised by in aviation. Tools were given to improve team and individual communication when delegates returned to their work setting be it a ward, a burning building or the control tower of Manchester Airport.
