Trainetics talks communication at HFC 2019.
Trainetics faculty member James Harlow recently spoke at the Human Factors Conference 2019 at Manchester Airport. This inter-agency conference aims to share learning and knowledge between all safety-critical sectors from Healthcare to Civil aviation.
James focused on the Role of Communication in creating a safe environment in aviation. He discussed the importance of clear, concise and consistent use of language when communicating in an emergency or voicing concern about a situation.
The conference was shown examples of the practices utilised by pilots and given tools to improve team and individual communication when delegates returned to their work setting be it a ward, a burning building or the control tower of Manchester Airport.
