JOHN SHENOUDA

John is an Anaesthetic Registrar training in the Central London School of Anaesthesia. He graduated from Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS) in 2016 with two undergraduate prizes. He was selected to contribute to two books and passed his Masters degree in Global Health with Distinction, claiming the Best Overall Student Prize.

His subsequent clinical training took place at Cambridge and Imperial during which time he completed his Diploma in medical care of catastrophes and founded an undergraduate revision course for final year medical students. His passion for medical education continued with his role as an Honorary Visiting Clinical Lecturer at BSMS. He is a faculty member on national FRCA courses as well being a National Safe Sedation instructor. He is currently a simulation fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital while completing a PGCert in Medical Education and Simulation. Within his role in simulation, he seeks to engage healthcare workplaces identify the importance of human factors improving patient safety.
