Emergency Medicine Trainees Conference

Trainetics and British Airways sponsor and speak at the Emergency Medicine Trainees Conference.

Our team were honoured to be approached to give a talk about the aviation and medical interface in Human Factors training to emergency medicine trainees at their annual national conference.

With over 100 attendees it was a great opportunity to talk to a specialty for whom clinical human factors are hugely relevant yet under-addressed in their training. Whether it’s tools to aid decision making in a high-pressured resus room, inter-professional communication on the shop floor or simply the tools to enable an Emergency Department (ED) registrar to enhance their situational awareness when running the department at night, Clinical Human Factors knowledge is vital to life in the ED.

We followed the talk by presenting the prize we had sponsored for best Oral presentation given by a trainee.
