Trainetics Faculty Member Prof Paul Bowie Was A Recent Keynote Speaker At HSIB Conference

Professor Paul Bowie was a recent keynote speaker at the Healthcare Service Investigation Branch conference, which was attend by over 2000 delegates from the UK and internationally. Paul delivered a keynote speech on the importance of applying a Systems Thinking mindset to safety investigations to enable more meaningful understanding of why things go wrong and subsequent learning and actions for improvement. In a further breakout session, Paul led a workshop introducing a preliminary Learning Response Review Tool that when applied to the review of healthcare investigation processes and related written reports can provide important feedback for improvement against established good practices.
